SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation this year has granted student scholarships to five children of Realtors®, including Eleanor Barnett-Cashman attending the University of Denver; Yaretzi Garza Silva attending Macalester College; and Macey Hager and Ana Rodriguez-Peroza both attending the University of St. Thomas and a fifth recipient who will attend Inver Hills Community College. Each of the scholarship recipients received $2,000 toward their respective schools.
Scholarship recipients were selected based on school and community activities, personal recommendations and essay submissions. SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation received numerous scholarship applications in 2022. Applicants who did not receive scholarships were recognized with Amazon gift cards.
SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation has granted $80,000 in student scholarships since 2012.
